I am feeling grateful this week. My life isn't perfect but it is very good. My eating isn't perfect but it is very good. My goal for the next week is too have one perfect food day. Meaning just eating good things all day! Today started off so great with a 4 mile run, a smoothie, and soup, followed by a brancrisp with 1/2 tsp of Nutella. Strawberries, some cheese, two crackers, gum, a sugar free candy, more soup, a bun and it is only one o'clock. But there is always tomorrow.
I feel as tho I am pursuing my weight loss goal on a tread mill right now, totally doing it put one foot in front of the other and making it happen, but really not going anywhere. But I do have complete faith that it will eventually come. I am also focused on the Legacy 1/2 Marathon that is at the end of this month. I am feeling good about it but not super confident. It is only my 2nd 1/2 Marathon I am kinda of interested to see how it will pan out.
I signed the kids and I up of the Cardston Kids Marathon. They seem excited about it. Last night we marked off 1/2 a mile for them so they run out to the marker and back so then they know they have done their mile for the day!
I am excited about Canada's new majority Conservative government. I have to say I was very disheartened over this last election, I really thought nothing was going to change. Therefore I didn't do as much election stuff as I have in the past. But as Jesse and I watched the results come in last night I was elated. I have great hopes at what the government can do now. I am also quite relieved at the number of seats that the BQ have, I strongly feel that this is great for my Wonderful nation.
I had a great Easter Break in Utah, visiting sisters's and parents. I will post pictures and talk about that later. Anyway doing kind of great.

Kind of great is a really good place to be. Stay there!
ReplyDeleteLife and weight loss is always changing pace, so even when it seems nothing is happening, something is or else you would be going backwards.
ReplyDeleteWish I could have got time off for the Legacy Marathon. Hope all goes well!
Kinda Great? Really Great I would say!! Steady Eddy, that is what makes the difference, and that is what you are doing, good on ya Barb!!
ReplyDeleteHave fun getting ready for the Marathon. I find that the getting ready is often more fun than the "date". :)I bet you surprise yourself at how good you really are!!
thanks for finding me, for sharing your amazing journey (WOW!) and for being one more good woman in the world willing to talk about her story.
ReplyDeleteAll the best to you!
